Research Assistant in the field of agricultural sciences (f/m/d)

• Compilation of data on the production and use of animal feed (including balances and prices) at the EU member state level, broken down by animal category and production system, as well as analysis of this data (primarily for dairy cows and beef cattle production)
• Contributing to the further development of the partial agricultural market model
  AGMEMOD (modeling feed demand, impact of feed prices on livestock production)
• Collaborating on project tasks, including the preparation of project reports
• Preparation and presentation of results in German and English 

Your professional profil:

• completed university degree (university diploma, M. Sc.) in agricultural sciences with a focus on agricultural economics, animal husbandry, or a comparable discipline
• Knowledge of the economics of animal production in the EU, feed markets, and animal nutrition is a plus
• Knowledge and experience in the application of quantitative methods (including the analysis of quantitative datasets) are a plus
• Knowledge of modeling approaches and experience with applied economic modeling are a plus
